Elixir named Chai!

Kadak Kullad has been conceptualised to deliver the best tea experience to our consumers. It brings you mom’s elixir, crafted with love, poured into her favourite clay cup.

There is a reason why we always run back home for mom-cooked food. Its obviously the taste, but also the bond, the feeling of togetherness. Even we, at Kadak Kullad, believe in delighting you with not just a taste but an experience in every sip of your chai-tea that you will want to rewind and replay.

Masala does its trick

taste.

It always feels amazing to spice things up. Be it food, adventures or just conversations. Spices aka Masala do the trick, even in our Chai. The right combination of spices, in the right proportion is the key to the perfect taste. This correct blend, that has been devised after ages of trial by mothers in their own kitchen, is what makes our masala unique.

And well, aroma and taste are not the only reason for picking up your share of masala chai. There are numerous health benefits derived from the good old Indian spices, the likes of black pepper and cloves. They are rich in antioxidants, act as immunity boosters, improve digestion, fight cold, cough and respiratory problems. Some spices are also believed to help regulate blood sugar and aid in weight loss.

Goodness of Kullad

it matters

Kullad, as a concept, originates from ancient India and is still a staple in Indian villages. For those who do not know what a Kullad is – ‘It is a clay pot designed into the shape of a handle-less cup.' Small kullads are used for hot tea while large kullads are used for cool drinks like lassi. Kullad has different names across India: Kulhad, Kulhar, Kollad, Shikora.

Kullads provide an earthy aroma to the beverage, which no other material can provide. This makes them an authentic taste booster for chai.

They are far more environment-friendly than plastic, are inherently hygienic and cannot be re-used, so you can be rest assured about doing good to Mother Earth and yourself while grabbing a kullad for tea next time.
